Psalm 51:6
Judas, one of Jesus' closest friends, turns against him. Judas' motives remain unclear, but his actions teach us about value. He sold out Jesus for just a few hundred bucks, betraying him for personal gain. We often judge Judas, but we've all sold Jesus out in different ways. Yet, Jesus still died for us, showing his immeasurable worth. Some speculate Judas felt overlooked or disappointed by Jesus' actions. Regardless, he chose greed over love for Jesus. In contrast, Mary showed Jesus her utmost value by giving her most precious possession, spikenard. She valued Him more than anything else. Our worship reflects our values. When we see Jesus as priceless, our faith grows. Despite Judas' betrayal, Jesus' goodness shines through. Today, let's reflect on Jesus' worth in our lives and worship him above all else.
