Ephesians 4:32
Forgiveness is vital for our faith and our connection with God. It's not just a small thing; it's crucial for how we understand God's love for us. Peter, one of Jesus' followers, thought forgiving someone seven times was good enough. But Jesus said we should forgive others seventy-seven times, meaning we should never stop forgiving. It's hard because it goes against our natural feelings. If we hold onto anger and refuse to forgive, it shows we don't understand how much God has forgiven us. It's like saying we don't really believe in God's love. So, forgiveness is crucial for anyone who follows Jesus. It's not easy, but it's something we should do because of how much God has forgiven us.
