Matthew 23:12
The story of Saul's transformation is a powerful testament to the grace and power of Jesus to change even the hardest of hearts. Saul, a fierce persecutor of Christians, is relentless in his mission to eradicate the followers of Jesus. With a zeal unmatched, he travels from town to town, arresting anyone who professes faith in Christ. On his journey to Damascus, equipped with the authority to continue his ruthless persecution, Saul is unaware that his life is about to be dramatically changed. As he approaches Damascus, a light from heaven suddenly surrounds him, and he hears the voice of Jesus asking, “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” This moment marks the beginning of Saul’s transformation into Paul the Apostle. This first part of the story highlights the incredible potential for change and the boundless grace of Jesus.
